Hey Friends and fellow hoopers!
My classes continue to grow and I have added a 3rd class!
Also, its now official....I am a Certified Hoop Dance Instructor! Yay! I just completed my teacher training with Hoopnotica! It was soo great! I learned alot....

Classes are doing really well, and the studio only fits 8 people at once, and i end up with a long drop-in list of students, some of which never get to come to class due to the lack of space. SO, i am splitting up my beginner class, and moving my intermediate class to monday nights in May.
heres how the breakdown will go:
Beginner Level 1
Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm
This Series is perfect for brand new hoopers! We will start with the basics and
introduce beginner tricks and ideas to get your Hoop Dance practice flowing! Come see what the buzz is all about!
Beginner level 2
Wednesday nights from 6:45-7:45pm
You already have the basics down and want to learn more fun tricks, as well as
incorporate dance, grace and flow in your Hoop Dance Practice. we will also introduce transitioning and how to connect all of our tricks together!
Intermediate level 1
Monday nights from 6:45-7:45pm
Take it to the next level! We will go over a multitude of new intermediate/advanced
tricks, and learn how to tie it all together with transitioning, Dance, and flow.
Feel confident performing in front of an audience!
i found that some of my beginners had never hooped before ( or hadn't since they were a kid) and they fell into the "brand new" category, where other beginners could keep the hoop going around the waist no problem and already new a couple tricks or moves. I think splitting up this class will not only make more room for more students, but will also really help everyone feel they were in a class that was the perfect level for them!
classes are in a 4 week series for $60 ( $15 per class )
drop in rate is $20
classes are held at SomaSpace...
